چکیده
Although miR-5195-3p has been acknowledged for its tumor suppressor role in diverse cancer categories, precise functions and mechanisms concerning melanoma have not comprehensively elucidated. In this study, we employed quantitative reverse transcription PCR, Western blot analysis, immunohistochemistry staining to investigate the expression patterns of poly (rC) binding protein 2 (PCBP2) tissues compared adjacent tissues. Our findings revealed downregulation upregulation PCBP2 Through implementation a luciferase reporter assay, successfully identified as newly discovered target cells. Enforced via mimics inhibited cell proliferation migration A375 A2058 cells, demonstrated by CCK-8 transwell assays. reintroduction partially reversed inhibitory effects overexpression. Treatment with LY294002, an inhibitor PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, also Furthermore, our results suggest that inhibits activation pathway inhibiting PCBP2. conclusion, research targeting PCBP2-mediated potential therapeutic treatment.

miR-98 targets ITGB3 to inhibit proliferation, migration, and invasion of non-small-cell lung cancer
BACKGROUND Accumulating evidence has emphasized causative links between aberrant microRNA (miR) expression patterns and cancer development. Abnormally expressed miRNA-98 (miR-98) was found in certain types of human cancers. The biological roles of miR-98 in lung cancer, however, remain largely undefined. METHODS We evaluated the expression of miR-98 in normal lung tissues, lung cancer tissues...
متن کاملInhibition of Cell Proliferation and Migration by miR-509-3p That Targets CDK2, Rac1, and PIK3C2A
CDK2 is a key regulator of cell cycle progression. In this study, we screened for miRNAs targeting CDK2 using a luciferase-3'-untranslated region reporter assay. Among 11 hit miRNAs, miR-509-3p reduced CDK2 protein levels and significantly inhibited cancer cell growth. Microarray, Western blotting, and luciferase reporter analyses revealed additional targets of miR-509-3p, including Rac1 and PI...
متن کاملMiR-6165 Dysregulation in Breast Cancer and Its Effect on Cell Proliferation and Migration
Background: ncRNAs have been identified as oncogenic drivers and tumor suppressors in any type of cancer. Although many classes of ncRNAs have been reported, most studies have been performed on microRNAs (miRNAs). miRNAs can regulate several target genes and affect important processes such as homeostasis, angiogenesis, cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Located in the p75NTR ge...

Marek's disease (MD) is a highly contagious viral neoplastic disease caused by Marek's disease virus (MDV), which can lead to huge economic losses in the poultry industry. Recently, microRNAs (miRNAs) have been found in various cancers and tumors. In recent years, 994 mature miRNAs have been identified through deep sequencing in chickens, but only a few miRNAs have been investigated further in ...
متن کاملmiR-125a-3p/FUT5-FUT6 axis mediates colorectal cancer cell proliferation, migration, invasion and pathological angiogenesis via PI3K-Akt pathway
The fucosyltransferase (FUT) family produces glycans, a fundamental event in several cancers, including colorectal cancer (CRC). miR-125a-3p is a non-coding RNA that can reduce cell proliferation and migration in cancer. In this study, we explored the levels of miR-125a-3p and FUT expression in human CRC tissues and two human CRC cell lines by qPCR. The results showed that miR-125a-3p, FUT5 and...
